About Me

My Name is Alexandria (Alex) Wolz (she/her) and I am a Registered Dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist, and a 200 RYT Yoga Teacher.

I received a Bachelors of Science in Food & Nutrition at Drexel University in Philadelphia where I also completed a dietetic internship at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center. I received formal training in the treatment of eating disorders while working as an outpatient dietitian at the Bronx VA Medical Center.

I am passionate about helping people reject diet culture, heal their relationship with food, honor their health and practice body kindness. I utilize a weight inclusive approach because your health and worth cannot be determined by a number on the scale. I believe that eating can be a positive and pleasurable experience while also having a more kind and peaceful relationship with your body.

In my free time, I love socializing with friends, camping and hiking with family, practicing and leading heated vinyasa yoga classes at Yoga Love NY, reading books and going to live music events. I am based out of NYC and Westchester, NY.

Client Feedback & Testimonials

“Alex was the most pleasant to have taken this journey on with. I came with an open mind, since you don't hear about intuitive eating. Now, I'm practicing the exercises she went over with me and incorporated them into my daily routine. I have a better understanding with myself and my food ! I always said I was a foodie and now when I say it, it feels good to know there isn't a guilt trip. The book as well is a good guide however having someone to talk…”

“I recently completed a 3 month package with Alex. She managed to do the impossible - change the way I relate and think about food. The way I think and talk about food is night and day since I started working with Alex. Her thoughtful questions and materials challenged my internal 'food police'. I am able to recognize the impact diet culture has had on me and I can eat a cookie if I want to and not eat it if I don't! If you think you tried everything and you…”
